Meet The Team!
Kerry Ann King

“I’m very fortunate to have found a career path that allows me to embrace my love of science and data as well as my creative drive.”
“Since childhood I’ve had a fascination with how data can shape my behavior. As a kid I was obsessed with the movie Cheaper By The Dozen, about the efficiency experts Frank and Lillian Gilbreth. My parents bought me a stopwatch and after that I was hooked! I streamlined everything from my commute to school to how I took a shower during middle and high school.
I had the great fortune to land at Exos @ Google when my career started. There, I was embedded in two cultures that value data and innovation. I was able to work on several innovation projects and realized that tech innovation in the service of the greater good is my true passion.
Identifying patterns in my life and world has helped me create a life that I love and find deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help others gain these insights faster and more effectively.”

Edward Steen, Ph.D
Advisory Board
Edward Steen earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at McGill University and his doctoral degree in clinical psychology at New York University. At NYU, he was trained in personality theory, psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and empirical research methods. Early in his career, he became the program coordinator of the Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Center at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where, in addition to carrying a full clinical caseload, he redesigned the program from the ground up, focussing on improved workplace culture for the multidisciplinary clinical team and on the introduction of targeted performance improvement research that could guide clinical programming, all leading to better clinical outcomes for clients and full state accreditation on audit. As the head of the Jacobi Psychological Testing Committee, he coordinated psychological assessment services for the medical center, created workshops and seminars, and provided supervision to interns and consultation to staff psychologists on difficult testing cases.
In his private practice, Dr Steen has worked with clients from all walks of life and a multitude of international backgrounds, including many in positions of senior leadership. In addition to maintaining his psychotherapy practice, Dr Steen has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Beth Israel Medical Center and as Clinical Supervisor of Psychological Assessment in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
More recently, Dr Steen has been sought out as an expert advisor by private equity firms to help understand staffing and clinical programming in behavioral health programs, to provide psychological insights into assessments of candidates for senior leadership positions, and to help understand different aspects of leadership style and workplace culture and their impact on morale and productivity. In this capacity, he has been able to bring together his experiences as a psychologist, personality assessor, supervisor, program director, and researcher to offer advice to professionals outside of the field of behavioral health.
Dr Steen has been published in scholarly journals and has presented papers on philosophical issues in clinical theory and practice and on defense mechanisms in interpersonal relationships. His current research interests include the assessment of emotional intelligence as it applies to positions of leadership.
Data and the insights it provides can be transformative.
Technology can help help us better understand our world as individuals and communities.
Data is for people, not corporations.
We only use data to enhance the user experience, not to exploit it. Individual data will never be monetized.
Inclusion comes first.
Inclusive products benefit all users. Inclusiveness will be a first principle in all of our designs, not an afterthought.
Improvement is a process, not an endpoint.
Humans and businesses both go through cycles. Our goal is to create sustainable improvements in ourselves and our business. We will never prioritize short-term gains over long-term growth.
